A return label, a drop-off and a new return booking are three different workflows.
Megway can help you identify which handover route you actually have before you travel to the store.
Understand the job before choosing the service.
Some customers arrive with a prepaid courier label, others with a retailer QR code, and others with only a returns address. Those situations are operationally different and should not be treated as the same service.
A supported drop-off normally means the shipment has already been purchased and labelled elsewhere. Megway acts as the local handover point for the enabled network. If there is no valid label or QR workflow, the parcel may need a completely new shipment booking instead.
The available courier networks, scan methods and proof-of-handover process vary by location. Checking the local location page first helps avoid wasted journeys.
More than a basic parcel transaction.
Pre-labelled drop-off
Hand over an eligible parcel that already has the correct courier label.
QR returns
Some supported retailer workflows use a QR code rather than a printed label.
Label printing
Participating locations can print supplied labels, subject to the store service.
New return booking
If the retailer provided no postage, the store may be able to arrange a fresh shipment.
Proof of handover
Keep any receipt, scan confirmation or reference supplied at the counter.
Courier-specific rules
A label for one carrier is not automatically accepted at every Megway location.
Before handing over a return
Check the return instruction
Confirm whether the retailer gave you a label, QR code or simply an address.
Pack the item securely
Returns still need suitable packaging unless the retailer explicitly supplied a reusable pack.
Confirm the courier
Identify which courier network is shown on the label or return instruction.
Check local acceptance
Make sure your chosen Megway supports that exact courier and handover type.
Present the label or QR code
Allow staff to follow the supported scan/acceptance workflow.
Keep the evidence
Retain proof of handover until the retailer confirms the return is complete.
Who this is useful for
What to prepare
Megway can only accept the courier drop-off networks enabled at that location. Printing a label does not by itself mean the location can accept the parcel for that courier.
Frequently asked questions
Can I drop off any courier parcel?
No. Each location supports specific courier networks and handover methods.
Can you print my return label?
Printing may be available locally, but label printing and courier acceptance are separate services.
What if I only have a returns address?
The store may be able to arrange a new shipment if the item and destination are eligible.
Do I get proof of drop-off?
Where the network provides a scan or receipt, keep that evidence until the return is complete.
